How hot does it get, temp wise? When the vehicle stalls, are you saying it cranks good but won't start? If so, start by checking the basics, find out what your missing. You can use a known good spark plug or spark tester to check for spark at the plugs. Carry the tester in your glove box, don't pull a plug out of your engine.
