I own this vehicle in Thailand and the existing key is in Thai language. As is the owner handbook but cannot even find it mentioned.

Can I amend the question in one small but important detail? In a moment of ignorance I put the wrong year ! It is a 2006 D Max , not 1996.
( I still miss my comfortable old 96 TFR wagon!
