Is it really hard to do a clutch on a 1996 Honda Civic EX?

This car has a very soft clutch even though it is hydrolic.Car will not go into gear when depressing the clutch pedal.Slave cylinder is full.I have done a clutch job on my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 but never a japanese car.Just wondering in your opinion would you say it is really hard???

A front wheel drive would be much harder than a rear wheel drive.
