I have a spark plug that is melted/fused into the cylinder, from my car overheating. I got all but this one out. I don't know what to do to get it out.

If it is melted, I question if the head is any good, What have you already done to try to remove it?

We have tried hammering it out, using a socket to get it out. It won't budge. My car overheated about 2 months ago and I guess the spark plug wires melted onto the spark plugs. This will be the 3rd set of wires that have melted. But never this bad. There is about half a spark plug left in there. I have read to try heating it, use acetone to loosen the rubber/plastic. I am just completely lost with what to do.

Are you still able to get a socket on the plug? Also, is it the plug that melted or the plug wire?

Yes, we are able to get a socket on it, but it won't pull it out. It is the plug wire that melted onto the spark plug. So that's why it is stuck. It's like it is super glued in there.

I'm glad it isn't the plug melted to the head. This is an odd one to be honest. Can you see where the wire melted to the plug and access it at all?
