I bought the car used. Recently i've found out engine was a D15b. Original engine was supposed to be D15Z4. Specs for D15b shows far better performance than the stock engine. However it cannot unleash its full potential because its ECU is the stock for lxi model(i think). What are the things I need to change or do in the car so it can perform the way it should?

First, you need to understand that we only recommend direct fit parts. However, if you feel the ECU is the problem, you need to find the correct one for the engine and one that will work with your vehicle. I will warn you, other problems may exist if you switch the ECU.
