my 96 honda civic ex automatic went into neutral while i was driving

it went into neutral when i stopped at a light then wouldnt go into gear while i was driving. the rpm will go up but the speedo isnt working i can let it sit for a couple of mins then i can drive but a min later it goes back into neutral. the trans fluid just got changed about a month ago
