1996 sonoma 4x4

i have a 1996 sonoma 4x4 that keeps blowing the 4x4 or number 19 fuse. replaced the encoder motor and still blows the fuse. the tccm is clicking when i try to switch it the 4 hi lights up but the front wheels do not kick in. any help would be great.

you'll hav eto check the actuator on the axle and transfer case. one or both may not be working or bad. Or you might have a wire that is grounding out due to a bare spot hitting the frame/axle.
