1996 GMC Sierra third brake light problems

I have a 1996 gmc sierra and I have changed my third brake light completely and checked the fuses and still doesn't work. What could be wrong with it

What about the other brake lamps? The high mount lamp is a direct feed from the brake lamp switch. If the other lamps work, but the high mount don't, I would suggest a wiring or connection issue. If no brake lamps work, I would suspect a faulty switch.
