can I remove the whole front axle with bad cv joint or do i need to leave the end from outer cv to axle nut in? I need to move the vehicle and the cv joint is bad on the right side. Towing is not an option as the distance is too far.

Hello,

What I meant to write is if I can remove the front right side axle and drive it. Or do I need to remove the axle and disassemble it at the outside cv joint, reinstall the outside section with the nut and washer. Basically can the truck be driven witout the axle in it and not ruin the hub assembly. The bearings are good it is just the outside cv joint that is bad.

Thanks
