Windshield wiper arm needs replacing on a 1996 thunderbird

Pull the wiper arm away from the windshield and check for a slid clip on the base. Open it and then remove the arm. Replace it in the reverse order.
NOTE: If I recall, some of the 96 models were bolted on. Check for that if there is no clip. There will be a cover that hinges open to expose the nut.
