im replacing my erg valve on my 96 ranger 4 slender automatic, and was wondering what size tool i need to remove the erg tube from the erg valve? the hanes Manuel did not say thanks.

i've used an adjustable crescent wrench or vise grips or locking jaw pliers or pipe wrench etc.

I used 1-1/4" and used another big wrench on the end of it for tork on my 94
