I can give you info from our database.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Remove the generator upper bolt.
Loosen the generator adjusting arm.
Remove the drive belt from the generator.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Remove the six bolts from crossmember and remove crossmember. This will allow access to the generators electrical connectors and generator lower through bolt.
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the generator.
Remove the generator lower through bolt.
Remove generator from the vehicle.
Are you trying to take it out close to small part of halfshaft? My only problem is I can't see much from here? If steering linkage is in the way, have you tried turning the wheels in or out, to get more room.
