OTHER POSSIBILITIES ARE

(MECHANICAL FAN) CLUTCH GOING BAD

(ELECTRIC) NOT RUNNING OR INTERMITTENT SEVERAL POSSIBLE REASONS

RADIATOR HOSES SQUISHY AND SUCKING FLAT WTH RPMs

COOLANT NASTIFIED---CHANGE IT

HEAD GASKET---HAVE CHEMICALLY TESTED

RADIATOR FINS STOPPED UP OR HEAVILY RESTRICTED

IF IT'S BEEN FOREVER----THE THERMOSTAT IS A GOOD MOVE, IF NOT ONLY FOR A POSSIBLE FIX----BUT WILL BE GOOD PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ANYWAY
