When I noticed my car running hot, I opened the hood and noticed everything in the passengers side corner of my motor against the firewall was wet. Looking around I found a circular hole(to me it looks like there is a missing hose) dripping water. I pulled into the closest muffler shop and the guy told me that hole is for condensation to run off from my air conditioner. But I have NEVER used my air conditioner in this car. Is he right? And if so why would that be making my car overheat?

He could be right, but besides the condensation that is supposed to drip into a drain pan and run out that hose, coolant leaking from the heater core will too. That will result in low coolant level and overheating.
