what kind of computer problem, we can't help you if you won't give us the code or the reason why it failed as there are many things on these that can fail

thanks for your response mjr346,
they just told me that because i don't run my truck to much and when the battery dies and get charged does't click back for some reason . they told me that i need te keep running my truck every day . i will do that and see what happen thanks ..

Yes the 1996 and newer with OBDII actually check all vehicle systems and will set a pass code if all tests were checked out. Actually about a 20 mile run if you know how to do it can pass for the smog emissions but as the smog place said, if the battery goes dead and codes disappear, they think you are scamming them for a faulty vehicle and it will fail... if you can a trickle charger may be best for you and your problem if you don't want to drive the truck all day

The above response is correct. However, you will most likely need to drive between 75 and 150 miles for the computer to complete a full systems check.
