front end grinding noise when 4 wheel drive is engaged, only when i let off gas. noise will not go away until i disengage automatic lock outs. differential/auto lock outs? have already replaced front u joints and wheel bearrings.

check axle fluid first then have the lockout s checked it may be the thrust washers worn out. see pics
