I had my water pump replaced and now it wont start

I had a slight leak in my water pump so I took it to a friend they took all my parts off but then a bolt broke so I had to take it to the shop now they say they replaced the water pump but now it wont start.

What bolt broke, are you getting spark and fuel to the engine?

The stud broke but they extracted it put everything back together and now says it wont start.

Ask them if it is getting both spark and fuel to the engine. One will be missing.

There could be many causes. But either one of them will prevent the engine from running.
