I have a 96 ford explorer (eddie baur edition) and the radio is stuck on phone mode. What to do??

I have disconnected the battery to try to clear the computer, no dice.

If the radio has a button on the steering wheel for the phone function, it could be the switch in the steering wheel.
Otherwise the head unit is probably failed.
