There is a squeak in my 96' ford contour. It is a V6. Been told I need a AC Pulley, but how do I know if I need a AC Idler pulley Bearing, 1996 Ford Contour A/C Compressor Bypass Pulley, or a 1996 Ford Contour A/C Compressor Clutch Pulley?

there is an small idler pulley for the belt and a idler pulley bearing in the main compressor clutch assembly.the bearing is what is likely squeaky if not the belt slipping. noisy belt slippage is common with air on.with air off bearings is likely cause. use wand/tube to ear to isolate offending bearing.
