1996 Ford Bantam Gearbox stuck

Hi I need to replace my clutch and pressure plate on my ford bantam 1.6 carburetor model. I have loosened every single bolt and nut that could possibly be holding the gearbox but somehow its stuck. I have even taken a crowbar and budged it in between the block and gearbox but it still does not want to come out. when I take the crowbar out the gearbox just shoots back into place. Please help me

we don't have those in US but if it's doing that all the bolts cannot be out we do not have a pic to show however.

Thanks but i have managed to sort it out. Somehow the fork pushing the release bearing has pushed it way to far and it got jammend the spokes of the pressure plate that explains why my clutch pedal was stuck to. So noe that i have it out iam trying to figure out what caused this cause i have never heard or come arcross something like this.

it cold have been a worn out release bearing. you didn't put miles on it so I imagine it's a lot. what happens the release bearing quits spinning then when the clutch is applied it wears the fingers of the pressure plate and can only go for so long before it is pushed and goes right through. if it is a graphite piece the same thing only on that the graphite wears out from holding clutch in to long at lengthy stops.

Thank you for the great information i figured that is what caused the bearing to get stuck as the bakkie is used for company purposes and its been going for 2years allready with the same clutch and pressureplate and it gets driven every single day from Monday to Sunday so it makes sense its wear and tear.

Not sure what the time is by you guys but whatever you are doing hope you enjoy it and a great day further.
