engine has sludge

i just put a head on my 1996 Dodge b2500 van but the engine has sludge in it still i forgot to tighten ll the bolts on the throttle body i didn't put the manifold back on yet could one of these be the problem or could a gasket be on wrong? what should i do water in oil still

you may need to change oil a couple times to remove all water from engine.is oil level staying at normal?

im drining it now it has more sludge in it now before i ichnged the head i torqued the hed at 70 is that the correct torque

well not sure about the torque but if you are losing no coolant and oil level is staying then changeing the oil a cpl times should clear it up
