96 Dodge Stratus leaks coolant but still runs

My Stratus has started leaking coolant I first noticed it a few months ago but I would put new coolant in and it would continue to run fine....now the coolant does not stay in long at all I getting it repaired very soon but I just want to know what exactly is going on it runs fine but I dont want to kill my engine

you need it pressure tested to verify where the leak is.
