When my truck is cold it idols fine, after driving two miles or so it begins to idol high.

Clean throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and check for a vacuum leak likehoses off, pinched, holes, and intake etc. Scan for codes and check fuel pressure

I cleaned the trhottle plate and now it runs at a higher rpm than before. I also replaced the engine collant temperature sensor and this did not help. If I shut the truck off and turn it back on it reves faster.

Scan for codes check fuel pressure. Also check with engine off andsee if throttle is sticking, even if it's a drive by wire. Then clean plare and wher eit godes through tbody to get all the gunk out.
