My truck will crank but it idels rough for a few minutes and is sucking alot of air. It will idle fine after a few minutes. If you try to rev it up or put it in drive it will cut off.

I need more info first. What engine and a/t or manual trans, what size truck 1500 or?

Is the engine light on? If so have you pulled codes? Is there any other problems?
