1996 Dodge Ram P U 1500 Transmission Keeps Coming Out 3rd While Driving Let Off

I have a p/u 1500 and the transmission keeps coming out of 3rd while driving when i let off the gas it goes back into gear. it also comes out at a stop if i give it a littl gas it jumps in gear can you tell me if it is just the valve body or what?

Without more information or access to a scanner that displays live data while driving, two common problems are the spring-loaded kick down cable from the throttle body to the transmission is sticking, or there's a momentary dropout in the signal voltage from the throttle position sensor.
