When I turn the heat on the heater blows really good cold air not even warm. In my other trucks when this has happened it has turned out to be the water pump. So I am online trying to figure out what others with the same problem have done. I haven't checked the hoses yet. I need this fixed asap since where I live it's not exactly warm. Thanks for any help on this issue.

check coolant level first as low coolant will cause your problem then have coolant system pressure checked by a pro it may be a head gasket. finally check for a broken temp cable going to the door on hvac unit.
