When I turn over the motor and I look at the rotor button seem like it doesn't stay in the position pointing to cylinder #1 is it suppose to or is it something else

The rotor should turn with the motor as you indicated.

Yes I'm just askin like where the rotor points to #1 but the question is will it be pointing in a different position or when I turn the motor off will it be pointing somewhere else
