MY RADIO JUST PLAYS NOW AND THEN,....GOES OFF AND ON.... IT MAY NOT PLAY FOR A WEEK AND THEN COME ON AND PLAY FOR WHO KNOWS WHEN.... WHEN IT DOES COME ON, SOMETIMES IT WILL NOT TURN OFF UNTIL I TURN MY TRUCK OFF. MY MACHANIC SAYS ITS WEARING OUT.

You need a smarter mechanic. Which model do you have? This can be caused by a bad power switch, four bad transistors, bad solder connections, depending on the model number of the radio. When these problems are fixed on Chrysler radios they're usually fixed for life. They typically don't act up again.
