The front left wheel gets very hot (the metal brake assembly, disc, etc.) after driving about ten minutes. I stopped and lifted with a jack but the wheel spins freely with no noise. The brakes seem to work fine. Any ideas?

it could be from riding the brakes, but check you wheel bearings for lube.
