Check engine light still on, and when the motor does run after putting a fresh coil on it runs like a misfire and the blows the coil? When the motor runs before it blows the coil, it runs good until the coil goes. They said it had bad gas. Well I put 96 in there it It seemed to start missing more until it just shut down. And it had a bad smell inside the van and out and i burned almost a tank of gas in about 20 or 30 miles.

Make sure it's well grounded. Make sure the power connectors are firmly connected. Make sure the plugs are properly gapped. Make sure the wires don't have excessive impedance. Plug wires should be between 10k and 17.5K ohms. Plugs should be gapped to between .039 and .044. Also check the plugs, make sure the ceramic insulators aren't cracked. Check the impedance on the center conductor; it should be close to zero.
