Don't need a credit card, just wrenches. There's two 15 mm bolts and the starter sits right in front in the middle of the engine.
What's the symptom? Chrysler starters give very little trouble but if you have the little silver Nippendenso unit, it's common for the solenoid contacts to wear. The symptom will be a single kind of loud clunk but the starter won't spin the engine. It always starts out being intermittent and will get progressively worse over many weeks and months. A salvage yard starter will often have the same problem or will develop it very soon.
You can repair that problem for 20 bucks with a new set of contacts.
