A mechanic told me that the reason my car is stalling is because I use
high test gas instead of low test.

You need a new tech. Cars stall for various reasons and it needs to be checked for the reason. It could be a vacuum leak, failed idle control motor or several other reasons.

Start with a new shop that will correctly identify your failure
