Alternator replacement

Trying to replace the alternator. How the heck do you get to the pivot bolt so you can remove the alternator.I've removed the oil filter. Yet the AC compressor is in the way. The exhaust shield is in the way. Sheesh. Help.

I am attaching the process for the 2.5L first. The second is the 2.4L process.
