What to do to get my hater function switch to work. Already replaced bcm and ecm and tried different switch

Bcm and ecm? Why? Who told you to do this?

Check all fuses with a test light first.

Check the blower resistor and the blower motor.

Not having trouble with the blower. Cant change from defrost to any other setting

There is a hvac control module under the right side of the dash that is the controller for the operations.

A shop with a scan tool can acess the information to see if the commands are being sent to the module.

I would put your old bcm and ecm back in your car

The trouble was diagnosed to be the bcm. The new one they put in was the wrong one and it took out the ecm. Had to repurchase both modules to get the car running again. When the newest bcm was installed, the controls worked fine. The car has been sitting in the garage since november and when I took it out to rechage the battery they no longer worked.
