My 1996 Chrysler Cirrus LX is making a grinding noise in the rear end, especially around turns. It now is grinding all the time, but gets louder around turns. What is wrong with it?

If the car has to be moving to hear the noise, there's only two possibilities. A noisy wheel bearing or brake noise. The brake linings could be worn down and grinding metal-on-metal, or there could be rust buildup. A brake inspection should identify the cause.
