check to see if both heater hoses are hot when engine is warmed up. if not then replace thermostat. if it is hot then check the actuators in the hvac unit.

Umm...the actuators?
Would that be the hot cold dial &/or the fresh/recirc dial?
If so they seem to be working fine, not sure how that would affect the temp guage though.
If both hoses are warm (not hot) does that still mean thermostat?
