electrical failure

While driving all of a sudden car just shut down momentarily battery gauge shows no power, while turning ignition key nothing was happening a few minutes later truck starts up like normal gauge for battery reads 12v

I'd have to make sure battery has a full charge, connections are all good, and the charging system is working ok. If that is a voltmeter reading, engine running, 12 volts isn't enough. You may need to use digital multimeter across battery posts, take reading engine off and engine running. Let us know.
