i have a 1996 chevy s10 2.2l that is having problems with the oil pressure. have hooked up another gauge and it is still starting off at around 70. have changed oil censer and the oil sender do you have any idea what it might be. have tried everything but changing the oil pump.

Sound like the oil pressure relief valve is not opening-with that high of a pressure
