I have lights (head,dash,etc)- when I turn key to start, I get nothing, no clicking,ticking, grinding of any sort. starter does nothing

Have you tested the battery? Have you checked to see if there is power to the starter?

New battery, neighbor just came over, had him turn key as I listened under Hood, clicking coming from fuse relay box

Have you switched out the starter relay? Have you checked for power there?
