I smelled a electrical burning last week one time. Then this week it drove fine until yesterday it stopped on me. Now it will start then it shakes and the shuts off. Wehad one person look at it and he said the bearing is froze or locked upand cant be fixed. My husband thinks it something simpler. Doyou think it couldbe something else

What bearing is the man talking about? Is there a knock from the engine when it runs? And yes, it could be something other.

The guy said the main bearibg but the oil was clean and not low at all

If the main bearing is bad, you will hear a knocking sound from the engine. Do you hear anything?
