You have an internal transmission problem could be shifting solenoid sticking/valve body etc-have it further checked out-

You gonna have to drop it to check the solenoids in the tranny also how's the transmission fluid level and condition, also check the filter-try testing the TPS and VSS sensors.

Run a diagnostic scan, if there is an electrical problem, this should isolate the faulty solenoid with a code, if no codes fair chance it will be a mechanical/ hydraulic problem.
