Hi, I drove my 1996 chevy camaro today and the "low oil' light came on. I had to drive 20 more miles before I could but 2 quarts in it. I didn't hear or see and funny noises. Do you think my car is fine or do you think I should be worried about any permanent damage?

I second the motion. When my Caravan starts rattling I know this is the week to start thinking about adding a taste of oil. There's one problem with your suggestion, fixitmr. When you pour in that extra quart of oil you've been carrying for emergencies, you won't have it anymore. That's why I wait until I get home to add oil. I would add that the oil can't leak out if you don't add any but some people might not get the humor. Happy Monday to you both.
