1996 Chevrolet Blazer Driving Work Everyting Fine Sudden Third Gear Overdrive

I was driving to work and everyting was fine then all of a sudden third gear and overdrive quit pulling , I can shift manually and feel the trans shift but it stilll won't pull when you give it gas

you have had an internal failure in the trans and most likely will have to come out and be overhauled
