I have a 1996 Chevy S10 blazer.with a 4.3 vortec, Vin W, (SCPI) Fuel system, 4L60E auto trans, 4WD.I would like to get rid of the problematic (SCPI) type engine and go with a more fuel efficient system.I would like to know what is involved and is it possible to install a newer 4.3 vortec engine in this Blazer.say a 2003 or newer LU3 or LG3 with the (MPFI) fuel system.Do I have to change the computer or anything else to accomplish this??
