1996 Chevrolet Blazer Bought S 10 4 Door Just Over Month Ago Noticed

I bought a 1996 S 10 4 door Blazer just over a month ago. I have noticed aceleration when at an incline is slow. Also when I am driving on the highway I notice a hesitation, like it goes into nuetral and back to normal. Some days are worse than others. From what I have read it sounds like the tranny filter needs to be changed. If this is not the case I need some help here.

it sounds like the trans but not the filter. it sounds internal. have a trans shop drive it for you to help pin point the issue
