1996 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
My 1996 chevy blazer acts like it has a miss. Started out only when engine was under a load(in gear). Progressively getting worse. I have no check engine light on. The cap, rotor, wires, and plugs are about a year old. I took off the egr valve and blocked it off still no difference. The snap-on scanner shows no codes and while viewing the screen no miss-fires. Checked fuel pressure with a guage, showed good. Hooked up to obdIII scanner and watched tps go from showing fine to dropping to zero and back to fine, also map sensor show 7 lbs of vacumm at idle and 30 with engine turned off. Changed both of those sensors, still same problem. I have not checked for leak down at the regulator. The abs light and the anti-lock brakes light comes on then the truck dies. Only starts to die then. It will start back up again, no problem. Does not matter hot or cold. Any other suggestions? Thanks Jeff
