cadillac skipping

My cadillac just started skipping when it reaches 60mph the rpm gage will rise to 3 thousand and continue to skip until i slow down. i hear a slight whinning noise when i drive it, and it takes a moment to shift gears could i be low on transmission fluid? or is it something else?

sounds like the trans. check fluid. and condition u have change the trans fluid just like the engine oil.

turns out my local mechanic that "use to work at a cadillac shop" could not find the transmission cap or dipstick he said it was on top of the transmission which it wasnt i got to looking and its next to the intake under a hose im thinking its a misfire since it only does it at high speeds

ck. the codes push the off and warmer buttons on the a/c panel.when all segments light release and write the codes down.gl

i found the problem is the mass flow either its dirty and needs the filter airbox, and butterfly spayed out real good or that sensor could be going out

i took it to autozone since i live right beside it and thats what they said the code that come up was
