My whole dash display where you read the speed and the mileage gas gage etc went black you can't see anything what's the problem?

Do an internet search for "GM cluster repair". You'll see it's a very common problem and lots of places specialize in fixing them. When I have a Chrysler cluster I can't fix, I send it to Advanced Auto Electronics. Got the last one back in a week at lower cost than I was quoted.
