Hey im looking into buying a 96 Deville but the owner says that he does not have a key for the trunk and i guess the fuse is blown for the trunk release how should i go about fixing this problem if i buy it? i know i can call a lock smith and its gonna run me about 90$ but once its popped and i replace the fuse the interior release for the trunk with i assume work again?

Won't hurt to try a locksmith-could be the latch actautor-who knows

Well im going to look at it tomorrow i guess if i push the trunk button and hear no sounds from it , it might be the fuse? how would i know if its the latch actuator?
