1996 Buick Riviera Hi 96 Cranks Over Wont Start Fuel Pressure 55psi Drops Quick

Hi,

My 96 cranks over but wont start. the fuel pressure goes up to 55psi then drops quickly after the key is turned off.

turn key on pump only runs a second or 2 to prime. pressure should be steady when cranking.

it loses pressure with the key on and still wont start. It primes then drops right after.

so key on it shows pressure then cranking it does not?

yes that is correct after it primes it drops quickly from 55 to 0 with in a couple seconds so it has no pressure when it is cranking
